Man shot, killed in Fairhill

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead on the 2900 block of Howard Street in the city's Fairhill section.

The shooting happened shortly before 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say a 33-year-old man was shot multiple times in the torso. He was transported to Episcopal Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

According to police, the suspect is described as a male in his 20's who was seen wearing a white shirt and black pants. The suspect fled northbound of Howard. Street

So far, no weapon has been recovered.
