Man stabbed in city's Tioga-Nicetown section

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Philadelphia police are investigating a stabbing on the 1500 block of W. Tioga Street in the city's Tioga-Nicetown section.

It happened shortly after 4 p.m. Tuesday.

According to police, a 56-year-old man was stabbed once in the head and once in the back. The victim was transported to Temple University Hospital where he's listed in critical condition.

So far, no arrests have been made.
