Man stable after stabbing in Kensington

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A man is in the hospital after being stabbed in the neck in Kensington.

Police responded to a call on the 2800 block of East Cumberland Street around 1 a.m.

Officers found the victim suffering from a stab wound to his neck and paramedics rushed him to Jefferson Hospital. The victim was placed in stable condition.

Investigators say there is no word on a suspect or a motive at this time.
