Man walking in underwear on Dan Ryan taken into custody
CHICAGO (SUN TIMES MEDIA WIRE) - A man who was walking in and out of traffic on the inbound Dan Ryan Expressway during Tuesday's morning rush hour has been taken into custody.
About 5:50 a.m., several callers informed police that a pedestrian was walking in and out of traffic on the westbound Dan Ryan near 47th Street, according to Illinois State Police.
Troopers responded and the pedestrian resisted being taken into custody and was behaving erratically, police said.
He was eventually taken into custody and taken to St. Bernard Hospital for an evaluation, police said. No one was injured.
