Man wanted in New Castle triple murder arrested in Detroit
NEW CASTLE, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say one of the suspects in a triple homicide in western Pennsylvania has been arrested in Michigan.
New Castle police said Monday that 19-year-old Anthony Lavon Cooper Jr. of Harrison Township has been arrested by federal marshals in Detroit.
Cooper was wanted on homicide, conspiracy and firearms charges in the Oct. 16 deaths of 31-year-old Nichole Pumphrey, 10-year-old Amariah Emery and 31-year-old Lawrence Cannon.

Also charged in Lawrence County in the slayings is 19-year-old Steven Procopio of New Wilmington. A woman is charged with obstruction of justice. Cooper will be extradited back to New Castle to face prosecution.
Police have said that all of the homicide victims had been shot in the face. Four other children in the home between the ages of 4 and 9 were unharmed.
