Man's deadly stabbing overnight may have been a robbery

A 30-year-old man was stabbed to death overnight and police say they think the killer may have tried to rob the victim, since there was an ATM nearby.

It happened just after 1:15am near the intersection of Belmont and Westminster avenues in West Philadelphia.

The report first came as a "male shot" but instead, police said he was found "suffering from several stab wounds to his legs and torso."

They're working to get surveillance video from a bar at the corner, and pick up more clues.
