Mother writes emotional Facebook post after daughter is stillborn

A mother whose daughter was stillborn has posted an emotional Facebook post in which she urges other parents to cherish the times they have with their children - even those tough early wake up calls.

Natalie Morgan's daughter Eleanor was "born sleeping" on September 11. Now, Morgan is sharing the details of the heartbreaking experience.

There seem to be so many friends of mine and Brian that have either recently had babies, are soon to have babies, or...

"I keep having flashbacks to that moment. It's a crippling, all-consuming feeling of utter suffocation, and a memory that will haunt me for the rest of my life," Morgan wrote after being told there was no longer any heartbeat.

"In that moment, I felt trapped as if the ceiling was literally crashing down on top of me. I couldn't breathe, I lashed out, I screamed, I threw things, I threw up…and then a piece of me died with her. I was helpless to change anything. My body was supposed to keep her safe, and instead it killed her."

Since it was posted on September 21, Morgan's post has been shared more than 328,000 times.
