NJ State Police respond to over 1,000 vehicle crashes from Thursday's storm
NEW JERSEY (WTXF) - New Jersey State Police have released a statement on their Facebook page saying as of Friday at 12:00 p.m. they have responded to 1,076 motor vehicle crashes and 2,066 motorist aids since midnight on Thursday.
The motorist aids can be anything from spinouts, flat tires, and mechanical breakdowns.
The department would also like to remind drivers that although the snow and ice has melted, standing water and wet roads have the potential to re-freeze as temperatures drop.
