Officials: Foam in Center City caused by offline transformers

Center City (WTXF) - Officials say two transformers switched off on Saturday morning in Center City causing fire suppressing foam to be dispersed.

It happened on the 400 block of S Juniper Street.

PECO says there was no explosion. According to officials, 2,500 customers were initially impacted. All power was restored by 4 p.m. Saturday. According to PECO, the foam was not hazardous.
