Old Navy tweet draws critcism and support for interracial relationships

(WTXF) - Old Navy was trending on Twitter over the weekend after a tweet announcing the beginning of its #ThankYouEvent sale attracted tons of negative comments.

The tweet features what appears to be an interracial couple and a young boy posing playfully.

One Twitter user said: "My family and I will never step into an @OldNavy store again. This miscegenation junk is rammed down our throats from every direction."

However, the tweets in reply weren't all negative.

One user wrote: "Hey Old Navy, my family and I thank you for the diversity in this ad! #LoveWins, no matter the color."
