One dead, suspect sought in deadly Logan shooting

LOGAN (FOX 29) - Police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in a Logan neighborhood on Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities responded to the 5300 block of North Malven Avenue shortly before 3:30 p.m. for reports of a person with a gun.

When officers arrived on the scene they found a victim later identified as 35-year-old Stephen Johnson Jr. suffering from gunshot wounds to the head and neck.

Johnson Jr. was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center and was pronounced dead at 3:40 p.m.

This investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
