One hurt after car slams into home in South Philadelphia

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - One person is in the hospital after a car crashed into a home in South Philadelphia early Friday morning.

Officers responded to a crash just after midnight on 13 th and Christian Streets.

Authorities say the car crashed into the front of the home, causing heavy damage to near a front window and surrounding wall.

One person was taken to Jefferson Hospital with minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
