Papal Visit Street Clearance, Towing To Begin as Early as Sunday

With just a week left until the arrival of the Holy Father, the city of Philadelphia has released a map and schedule for street clearance and towing.

Residents in a large portion of the city have been asked to removed and relocate their vehicles from city streets, before varying deadlines throughout next week.

Street clearance in the areas surrounding the art museum is scheduled to begin as early as this Sunday at 6:00 p.m. , while smaller areas on that side of the city have until 9:00 a.m. Monday.

As for Old City, residents must clear their vehicles from the streets by 6:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Outer parts of the city that border the traffic box have until 9:00 a.m. Wednesday.

Cars that are not cleared by the deadline will be towed away from the area.
