PHL flight delayed more than three hours after negative report of banned phone

An American Airlines flight is re-boarding after more than a two-hour for a negative report of a banned phone onboard.

According to Philadelphia International Airport's Public Affairs Manager Victoria Lupica, there was an unconfirmed report of a passenger having a Samsung 7 phone on board.

The flight was delayed out of an abundance of caution while authorities looked into the possibility of the report. According to Lupica, passengers were accommodated as necessary.

The Flight #2051 and was scheduled to depart Philadelphia for Miami before 10 A.M. Tuesday.
