Pickup truck loses control, crashes into spa

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A late morning accident ended up with a pickup truck breaking through the wall of a Northeast Philadelphia spa.

It happened at about 11:30am at Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa, on Grant Avenue near Blue Grass Road.

Crews arrived at the scene and found the truck had broken through the brick.

Police say the 46-year-old driver lost control. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

There's said to be significant damage to the building, and a Licenses and Inspections crew is on scene.

Nobody inside was injured.
