Police locate missing 8-year-old boy

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA - Police have found an 8-year-old boy who went missing in Northeast Philadelphia Friday afternoon.

The boy was last seen by his father around 2 p.m. Friday at their home on Castor Avenue.

Investigators say the child was found safely on the 6800 block of Horrocks Street around 6:30 Saturday.
