Police investigate fatal shooting in Southwest Philadelphia

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (FOX 29) - Police in Southwest Philadelphia are investigating a homicide.

Officers responded to the 5800 block of Angora Terrace Friday, February 15, 2019 about 10:45 p.m. on the report of a person with a gun.

According to authorities, police found a 17-year-old teen on the sidewalk. The victim had gunshot wounds to the neck, back and lower torso.

He was rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. Officials say the victim died early Sunday morning.

Police say the investigation is ongoing. No weapon has been recovered and no arrests have been made.
