Police Investigate Police-Involved Shooting in Wilmington

Wilmington, Del.--(WTXF)-Police are investigating a police-involved shooting in Wilmington, Delaware.

The shooting happened on Scott Street shortly just after 4 p.m. Wednesday. According to police, a male in a wheelchair was suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound upon their arrival. Police say the male refused to drop his weapon.

One person was transported to St. Francis, authorities say.
