Police: Man, 27, shot and killed in Woodbury

WOODBURY, N.J. (WTXF) - Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in Gloucester County late Saturday night.

Around 11:30 p.m., officers responded to East Centre Street in Woodbury, where they found a 27-year-old man who sustained a gunshot wound to the head.

The victim, who police have yet to identify, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Gloucester County Medical Examiner has ruled the manner of death a homicide.

Witnesses tell police that a suspect fled the scene on foot. No arrests have been made at this time.
