Police: Man, 34, shot and killed in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Police are investigating after a 34-year-old man was shot and killed in North Philadelphia overnight.

Just before 1:30 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to the 2800 block of Ridge Avenue, where the victim was found shot in the shoulder and back.

The man was transported to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

This is an ongoing investigation. No arrests have been made at this time.
