Police: Man's body pulled from Schuylkill River

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA - Police are investigating after a man's body was recovered from the Schuylkill River Monday afternoon.

Around 1:30 p.m., officers responded to the 5400 block of Lindbergh Boulevard near the river.

Officials say a 42-year-old man's body was discovered by a boater. The man's body was turned over to the Medical Examiner's Office.

Police have not yet identified the deceased.
