Police officer rescues kitten from interstate
NORTH KANSAS CITY, Missouri (Fox 32 News) - A police officer rescued a kitten from a busy interstate median.
Officer Jason Smith spotted the kitten on I-29 in North Kansas City, Missouri, just before Christmas. He called for help with traffic, then rescued her. She warmed up to him inside his patrol car.
The kitten stayed for a while at an animal shelter, then was adopted by Smith's vamily. They have named her Bella.
