Police: 'Real concern for' missing woman's 'safety and welfare'

NEW CASTLE, Del. (WTXF) - There is a frantic search for a missing New Castle woman, and Delaware State Police have issued a Gold Alert for her.

Kathlene August is described as 61 years old, 5'6" tall, weighing 120 lbs. She has gray hair and blue eyes.

According to police, "Attempts to locate her have been unsuccessful and there is a real concern for her safety and welfare."
