Police searching for man who attempted to rob Port Richmond Target store
PORT RICHMOND (WTXF) - Police are searching for a man who attempted to rob a Target in Port Richmond last Friday.
The incident occurred at 2:40 p.m. at the Target located at 2701 Castor Avenue.
According to a press release, an unknown white male entered the store and was placing items inside a shopping cart.
When he was leaving the store, a 25-year-old male loss prevention officer confronted him.
After a brief struggle, the suspect pushed the officer and then ran out of the store before returning with a knife in his hand, threatening him.
The suspect then fled the store, leaving the merchandise behind.
He was last seen on Castor Avenue towards Richmond Street driving a silver or gray Nissan Altima along with an unknown female passenger.
No injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a white male, 25-years-old, 5'7", 190 pounds, wearing a gray shirt with "Boston College" on the front, dark blue jeans, and sunglasses.
