Police seek five men after shooting in West Oak Lane kills one

Police seek five individuals in connection with a shooting in West Oak Lane that killed one man Friday evening.

It happened just after 10 p.m. on the 2100 block of Middleton Street.

The victim, 29-year-old man, was shot twice in the stomach and transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center. He later succumbed to his injuries.

Investigators say five men were standing on the street just prior to the shooting. They were driving a light colored 2007 to 2017 Mitsubishi Lancer with a distinctive rear spoiler. According to police, the men, seen in surveillance video, appeared to be recording some sort of video. At one point, one of the men fires several shots at the victim, as he walked past them.
