Police: Suspects sought in Nicetown robbery, shooting

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Police are searching for three suspects wanted in connection with a robbery and shooting in Nicetown on Jan. 18.

Authorities say that shortly after 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday two victims were in a parked car on the 1400 block of Jerome Street, when two suspects engaged them in conversation.

A third suspect then emerged from a gold colored SUV parked directly in front of the victim's vehicle. Shortly after, two suspects allegedly robbed the victims at gunpoint.

As the suspects attempted to flee eastbound on Jerome Street, police say they fired several shots at the victims. The victim was struck once, but is listed in stable condition.

The suspects then fled southbound on Broad Street in a gold colored SUV.
