PPA begins re-launching mobile payment app ‘meterUP'
PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Paying for parking by smartphone is up and running in parts of Philadelphia.
The parking app meterUP relaunched Monday and is set to expand across the city over the next four months.
Using a smartphone, drivers can pay for parking remotely and add time to the kiosk.
Customers can even stop time early to avoid wasting unused minutes.
You should notice signs popping up in the next few weeks with directions explaining how to use it.
Customers will be able to use meterUP by visiting meterUP.org, downloading the meterUP app available for iOS and Android, or by calling (877-727-5303).
