Rail service restored on Atlantic City, Dinky lines

Trains are running again in Atlantic City and Princeton.

New Jersey Transit on Sunday restored service between Atlantic City and Philadelphia. It had been suspended for months while the railroad finished installing the positive train control safety system.

NJ Transit initially said the rail line would reopen over Memorial Day weekend.

Meanwhile, the Dinky rail service is again operating between Princeton University and Princeton Junction. It had been out since October due to mechanical issues.
