Rare Sixgill Shark Filmed at Depth of 490 feet
(STORYFUL) A crew from scientific organization Ocean Gate shot video of a sixgill shark and swarm of dogfish at depth of 490 feet near Desolation Sound in British Columbia.
The rarely-sighted sixgill shark was estimated to be approximately 14 feet long.
The sixgill is a predatory shark but lives mostly at great depths and is rarely spotted by humans.
