Report: FBI Looking Into Texts from Jared Fogle Regarding Underage Sexual Encounter
INDIANAPOLIS, IN (WTXF)- TMZ has reported that the FBI has subpoenaed text messages between subway spokesman and a subway employee that reportedly involved a conversation regarding a past sexual encounter with an minor.
A report from Business Insider states that the pair were involved in a sexual relationship.
According to that same report, Jared, 37, allegedly wanted the woman to advertise herself on Craigslist to have six with other men so he could watch back in 2008. The report alleges that Fogle's offered to pay $500 for each sexual encounter.
Business insider says the woman's response was, "Is this the same website you found that 16-year-old girl that you f*****? I Still can't believe you only paid $100 to her."
To that, Jared reportedly responded, "It was amazing."
The woman claims she went to Subway to complain, and says the company took no action.
Business Insider was unable to get a response from Fogle's attorney.
Fogle's Indiana home was raided by federal authorities back in July, but no charges had been filed. Subway suspended their relationship with Fogle following the raid.
