Reported Sex Assault at Overbrook School

PHILADELPHIA, PA (WTXF) - Police are investigating reports of a sex assault at a Philadelphia public school.

Parents of students at Dimner Beeber Middle School in Overbrook received a letter from the district yesterday.

It says the Special Victims Unit is investigating an incident between students in a classroom.

It reportedly involved five boys and a girl when a teacher had stepped out of the classroom.

The district told parents it will release more information once the investigation is complete.
