Shooting in Ogontz leaves two wounded

OGONTZ -- Philadelphia Police are investigating a shooting that left two people wounded in Ogontz Sunday night.

The incident took place on the highway in the 1600 block of Widener Place just after 10 p.m.

A 21-year-old black male was shot twice in the leg and transported to Einstein Hospital in stable condition.

A 46-year-old black female was also shot twice, once in the stomach and once in the leg. She was also transported to Einstein, but her condition is unknown at this time.

No suspects or motives have been named at this time.
