Shooting in South Philadelphia leaves one man critical, police say

Philadelphia police investigate a shooting that left one man in critical condition.

Police received the call a little after 8 p.m. Thursday for a shooting at South 30th Street and Reed Street.

Upon arrival, police discovered a 32-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the chest.

The victim was transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he was listed in critical condition.

The investigation is ongoing. No arrests were made and no weapon was recovered.
