It could have prompted a slew of traffic violations for the cash-strapped single mother, but Washington Township police decided to do the opposite.

So the police force teamed up with local businesses to make sure that the single mom, Kristal Christ, got her vehicle repaired.
And they even threw in a $100 gift card to help with Christmas presents for her three children.
