Starbucks Customer Reveals Pastries Crawling with Insects

A Starbucks customer, Jay, recently had a disturbing experience at a Starbucks in Connecticut.

While waiting for his coffee, Jay heard the woman the woman in front ordered a pastry. He thought that sounded like a good idea, but immediately changed his mind.

After taking a closer look at the pastries enclosed in the clear case, he saw that the pastries were crawling with bugs.

Jay then saw the small pile of 'crumbs' at the bottom of the rack, and knew this was the last straw.

He documented the incident in a viral YouTube video, renaming the franchise: 'Starbugs.'

A rep for Starbucks released the following statement :

The health and safety of our customers and partners (employees) is our top priority, and we are committed to delivering an experience that exceeds expectations. We were concerned to learn of this situation and are following up to ensure a swift resolution.
