Starbucks reveals its secret menu: Where to find it

Starbucks fans have been aware of the coffee chain’s "secret menu" for years, but now, the menu is easily available to view.

Starbucks announced the news on Monday.

Where to find Starbucks secret menu

How It Works:

Starting July 14, Starbucks' secret menu will be available in the "offers" tab on the Starbucks app. Just select the drink, and it’ll be added to the cart with all the customizations already populated for ordering.

The menu will regularly feature new drink customizations or "secret menu drinks."

What they're saying:

"Inspired by the popular Starbucks Not-So-Secret Menu broadcast channel on Instagram, the Starbucks secret menu in the app allows Starbucks Rewards members to easily order the featured, popular drink customizations at participating stores," the company’s website said.

Dig deeper:

To kick off the launch, four customized beverages will debut on the 14th in the Starbucks app:

  • Cookies on top: For cookies and cream lovers, order a Cold Brew with two pumps of vanilla syrup, Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam and cookie crumble topping.
  • Dragonfruit glow-up: A Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade Refresher by adding peach juice blend, then have it blended and topped off with Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam.
  • Lemon, tea & pearls: Black tea and lemonade make a perfect pair. Add an extra pop of flavor with raspberry-flavored popping pearls to take it to the next level.
  • Just add white mocha: Take a new spin on the Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso by adding two pumps of White Chocolate Mocha Sauce and topping it with Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam on top.

Starbucks launches secret menu contest

What's next:

Also, launching is a secret menu contest, where customers can submit their favorite drink customization for a chance to have their creation featured on the secret menu and win a $25,000 grand prize.

Starbucks customers and employees can participate in the contest between July 14-July 20. Entries will then be narrowed down to four final customized beverages, with each finalist’s creation featured on the secret menu from August 18-25 and receiving a $5,000 prize. From August 18–20, fans can vote for their favorite on Starbucks’ Instagram account, and the winner will receive an additional $25,000.

Starbucks focuses on healthier drink options

The backstory:

This news comes after the company announced earlier this year that it was cutting 30% of its menu in order to simplify operations and drive innovation.

Starbucks also said it had been testing healthier drink options such as a sugar-free vanilla latte topped with protein banana cold foam to align with the Trump administration’s health goals under its "Make America Healthy Again" initiative, according to Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

What they're saying:

Kennedy, who has been examining the nation's food system to address the root causes of childhood chronic disease, said in a post on X that he met with Starbucks CEO Brian Niccol on Tuesday, who "shared the company’s plans to further MAHA its menu."

"Our diverse menu of high-quality foods and beverages empower customers to make informed nutritional decisions, with transparency on ingredients, calories, and more. Plus, we keep it real—no high fructose corn syrup, artificial dyes, flavors, or artificial trans-fats," Starbucks said in a statement to FOX Business.
