Surveillance footage released in Bensalem casino parking lot robbery

Bensalem, PA (WTXF) - The Bensalem Township Police Department are looking for two suspects involved in an armed robbery.

Surveillance shots of the suspects were released Wednesday afternoon in hopes of identifying the men who allegedly held up a 73-year-old woman in a casino parking lot.

Police say it happened in the Parx Casino parking lot on Sunday right before 8:30pm.

According to police, a 73-year-old woman was walking in the parking lot when one of the suspects came up to her. Police say the armed man ripped the purse of the victim's shoulder and ran towards Mechanicsville Rd.

Both suspects got away with an unknown amount of money and the woman's cell phone.

Bensalem police say that after investigating, evidence revealed there were two suspects involved. Surveillance footage shows the two men followed the victim from inside the casino.

According to police, they were driving a silver 2007 Audi Q7 with the NJ licenseplate K52GEN. Police say the car and both suspects are believed to be from Newark, NJ.
