Suspect in Allentown triple shooting in police custody

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (WTXF) - Police in Lehigh County say a suspect in a triple shooting in Allentown is in police custody.

Antwan Washington, 36, was identified by police as the prime suspect in the shooting that left a teenager dead and injured two other people.

The shooting happened around 5 p.m. Tuesday at a home on the 500 block of Harrison Street in Allentown.

16-year-old Carolina Monsato was shot multiple times during the incident and she later died at the hospital.

Two other victims, a 19-year-old male and a 31-year-old woman, were taken to the hospital, but their conditions were not immediately made available.

Investigators say Washinton and the 31-year-old woman were in a relationship.
