Suspects Wanted For Armed Robberies In Southwest Philly

Southwest, PA - Two men were caught robbing a man who was waiting at a bus stop Monday morning.
The 31 year-old man was waiting for a bus at 50th and Spruce when the two masked men said, "Give me what you got."
"It frightens me because I would have a heart attack if somebody just walked up on me," said Denise Mitchell, a resident of west Philadelphia.
The thieves were able to run off with credit cards, cash, and a white iPhone 6.
"These young kids right now, they want money, so they figure the only way to get it is to rob somebody", said Robert Richardson, a resident of West Philadelphia.
This isn't the first incident involving gunpoint street robberies in this area, there have been a total of 19 this month.
Last week, two men were caught on camera robbing a 31-year-old woman at gunpoint. Someone contacted Fox 29 after the video was aired. Rahsideem Thompson-Pounds, 19, was charged.
"There's easy access to guns. That's the number one problem in Philly", said Richardson.
Police believe several suspects are responsible for the robberies that have been occurring in the area. Detectives say Pounds is a person of interest in two other robberies.
"I normally see a lot of Police around here, so I don't know why they're not being caught," said Mitchell.
