"Suspicious" Fire Investigated in NJ

A fire at a residential building in Pitman, N.J., is being investigated as "suspicious" by the Gloucester County Fire Marshal's Office and the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office.

The fire took place at 1:35 a.m. at a triplex apartment building and was reported to police by an occupant of one of the apartments after a smoke alarm in the unit was activated, police and prosecutors said.

None of the three occupants of the apartment were injured.
