Thief returns package after discovering it was kid's gift

WTXF - A thief in the Sacramento area stole a package from a house- but later returned it upon discovering it was a gift for a kid.

According to AOL News, the thief brought the Amazon.com package back and left a note- " Was going to steal your package but it's for a kid. Sorry for the inconvenience.- Have a nice day."

The package contained an iPad cover, a gift for the family's 2-year-old daughter.
