Trooper suffers broken leg after being knocked off horse by suspected drunk driver: State Police

A Pennsylvania State Trooper suffered a broken leg after being knocked off his horse by a suspected drunk driver near Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday. 

The horse was not injured after the mounted trooper was sideswiped in the leg by a pickup truck that drove past six troopers on horseback. 

What we know:

Investigators say six Pennsylvania State Troopers on horseback were near Pattison Avenue around 6 p.m. when a pickup sideswiped one of the mounted troopers.

The collision caused the trooper to fall off the horse and suffer a broken leg, authorities said. The horse was not injured.

The pickup was stopped a short distance away and the driver was charged with suspicion of DUI after he "displayed indicators of impairment after a field sobriety test.

Police were called to several locations across Philadelphia on Sunday as Eagles fans took to the streets to celebrate the team's Super Bowl berth. 

The Philadelphia Police Department reported one stabbing, two shootings, and a driver was charged after striking multiple people crowded in the street.

In total, 30 adults and one juvenile were cited for Disorderly Conduct or Failure to Disperse.
