Two hospitalized, one in custody after Maple Shade knife attack
BURLINGTON, N.J. (WTXF) - Authorities are investigating after they say a man assaulted a person with a knife during a domestic dispute on Wednesday morning.
According to police, Brooks J. Nelson, 24, used the knife during the attack, which occurred on the 100 block of Great Road. Authorities later located Nelson a short distance away from the scene.
Both Nelson and the victim were taken to Cooper Hospital Trauma Center for treatment, where police say that Nelson was taken into custody.
Police also revealed that at least four witnesses were treated for minor injuries after being bitten by the victim's dog.
Police say charges are impending.
