Two wounded, one critically, in Olney shooting

Philadelphia Police are investigating a shooting that left two people wounded in Olney.

The incident occurred on 5 th and Olney Streets around 12:30 a.m.

According to Chief Inspector Scott Small, an argument began in a bar at the location which then spread to the street.

A male shot another male and a female and then fled on foot.

The male victim was shot in the chest. He is in extremely critical condition.

The female victim was shot four times, in the stomach and legs, and is in stable condition.

A gun was found on the 500 block of Elkins Avenue, and a male was taken into custody on the 400 block of Elkins Avenue. However, police are not sure whether that person is the shooter at this time.

The shooter did not have identification on him at the time he was taken into custody.
