VIDEO: Olney Metro PCS store robbed at gunpoint

Philadelphia police are looking to identify and locate two suspects who they say held up a Metro PCS store at gunpoint.

The alleged robbery occurred around 5 p.m. September 17 on the 6200 block of North Front Street in Olney.

Police say two suspects entered the store and approached the counter, as one of the men pointed a handgun at a store employee, and demanded money from the register. The employee complied with the demands and placed the cash drawer on the counter.

Once the drawer was on the counter, surveillance video shows the second suspect, who was wearing a mask, grab more than $1100 from the drawer.

Both suspects then fled the store on foot and were last seen headed west on the 100 block of West Laveer Street. No shots were fired and no injuries were reported during the incident.

Investigators have described the suspects as two black males, in their mid-20s. Anyone with information about the incident or suspects is asked to contact police.
