WANTED: Police release sketch of Haddon Twp. luring suspect

Police in Haddon Township have released a sketch of a suspect they say attempted to lure a young girl this past Sunday.

The incident occurred on the 200 block of Addison Avenue in Westmont while the victim was riding her bicycle.

Police say the suspect approached the girl and told her that he parents had sent him to come pick her up and take her home.

The little girl quickly rode away from the suspect.

Police have described the suspect as a white male in his late 30s to early 40s with a light complexion and dark hair. The suspect did not have facial hair and was wearing silver framed, low profile eyeglasses. Police added that the man had noticeable wrinkles at the corner of his eyes and above his nose.

The victim told police the man was wearing an orange, short sleeve collared shirt, and recalled the man had hairy arms and a silver ring on his left ring finger.

The suspect was driving a tan 4-door sedan with New Jersey registration. The car may have a discolored driver side rear panel.

Police released a surveillance photo of the car, and believe it may be a 2003 tan or gold Hyundai Elantra GLS.
