WANTED: Suspect sought in deadly shooting of man, 55

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Philadelphia police have released surveillance images of a suspect in the fatal shooting of a man.

55-year-old Barry Parks was gunned down back on August 28 at around 2:30 a.m., as he waited at a bus stop at 6th and Erie Avenue in Hunting Park.

Police say Parks' coworkers were sitting on the bus as it approached, and Parks was approached by the suspect. The suspect then tried to rob Park and take his back/pack, and a struggle ensued.

Parks was shot in the head, and the suspect fled the scene, running in front of the bus.

There is a $20,000 reward for information leading for an arrest and conviction. If you have any information about the suspect or incident, you're encouraged to contact police.
