Warrington man arrested on multiple charges relating to illegal sexual contact with 13-year-old

NORRISTOWN (WTXF) - A Warrington man has been arrested on multiple charges related to illegal sexual contact with a 13-year-old girl.

According to a press release, 40-year-old Marcus Forte has been charged with felony institutional sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor, unlawful restraint of a minor, and other charges related to the girl who lives in Upper Gwynedd Township.

Officials say that following an investigation they determined that Forte met the girl when he was employed in the IT department of Gwynedd-Mercy Academy Elementary.

The alleged incidents reportedly took place in his office at the school behind closed doors and at the juvenile's home, the press release states.

Gwynedd-Mercy Academy Elementary has been cooperative throughout the investigation.

Forte was arraigned Monday and his bail was set at $500,000. He failed to make bail and has been remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 8.
