Weather Authority: Warm and sunny Tuesday amid rising temps

PHILADELPHIA (FOX 29) - The Philadelphia area is slated for a sunny Tuesday with warmer temperatures than we experienced Monday.

Temperatures will reach nearly 80 degrees. Cloudy skies this evening will become partly cloudy after midnight. A stray shower or thunderstorm is also possible.

By Wednesday, temperatures will take a slight dip. The region can then expect cloud coverage through Friday, when rain is expected to return to the forecast.
