Wind may be to blame for large tree down in Upper Darby

Saturday's windy conditions may be the culprit in the toppling of a very large tree on Lansdowne Avenue, in Upper Darby. Officials say weather may have played a factor.

Crews worked to clear the tree, which reportedly fell on Lansdowne Avenue between Marshall Road and Plumstead Avenue about 4 p.m. Saturday. Traffic had to be rerouted while the tree was cleared from the road.

No injuries were reported as a result of the tree falling. There were no reports of property damage.
